Shuswap Boat Rentals

A very talked-about park in British Columbia's Southern Interior is Shuswap Lake Provincial Park. Yearly, many hundreds of tourists primarily from BC and Alberta camp there. Shuswap Lake Provincial Park is situated on the northshore of Shuswap Lake's major arm, in the community of Scotch Creek. From the municipality of Salmon Arm, drive about forty five minutes north to get to the park. From the city of Kamloops, the park is about 1 hour's drive east. The massive camp is filled with a picnic space for day usage, roughly 275 camp sites, and a large seaside of sand and gravel.

On an long-standing delta of Scotch Creek is situated the Shuswap Lake Park. Found on the relics of semi-underground pit houses are evidences that this was the site of the Kekuli First Nations settlements, utilized by Shuswap First Nations peoples. The park's Nature House includes a Kekuli model reconstruction, plus the archaeological ruins are situated inside the park boundaries.
