If it is feasible for you to fetch along a sunscreen, compass, sun shades, additional garments, insect repellent, fire starter, first aid kit, flashlight, and utility knife. One other thing that's helpful is definitely an emergency blanket. However, it is important to note that increased pack weight on long hikes can lead to fatigue and amplify the chance of falls. Therefore, some advocate ultralight pack weights in order to make long distance hikes securer.
